Our Company

WeatherMark Sailing has been synonymous with sailing in the Southeast for over two decades. The company WeatherMark Inc. was a premier boat dealer and service center located in Buford, Georgia on Lake Lanier for many years. For years WeatherMark was a dealer for Catalina, Hunter, Vanguard, and Hobie. It also had some time with Tartan, C&C, as well as J-Boats. In the late 90's the company was sold and went through a name change, and being sold again in 2000-2001 the company name WeatherMark was resurrected. In 2000 John Adair, became the Service Manager, and later in 2004 Partner, and Operating Manager for WeatherMark Sailing Center. In 2007 Lake Lanier experienced almost a two year drought, and with economic changes in the area, WeatherMark Sailing Center closed as a dealer. In 2010 John Adair made the decision to return home to Clearwater, and re-establish WeatherMark  as a mobile service entity. John Adair has been in the marine industry for over 35 years. He was First Mate on the charter boat Sport Cat in the latter 70's, and went to work in 1979 as a technician for Ross Yacht in Clearwater. John enjoyed learning from some of the best in the business. Ross Yacht was known for it's reputation here in the Southeast for it's quest for perfection in all that they did. Courtney Ross taught, and expected the very best. In between the early to mid 80's and 2000 John oversaw, and performed a vast amount of marine projects, power and sail, as well as establishing a Surfboard Label "Inner Vision" .Today WeatherMark Marine Services / WeatherMark Sailing is based in Clearwater, Florida, and is dedicated to providing the very best in Marine Services at affordable prices.
